London vs NYC

London is gonna have a tough time livin' up to NYC! I'll tell you, finding a good holiday escape before going to Sweden wasn't easy. Nothing sounds fun compared to cranberry baguette and tall americano at Starbucks on Manhattan! Yes yes, I know they have my beloved Starbucks in London as well but the view and the feeling won't be the same. I would never buy an I heart London tee....But ok..enough complaining. I like London, it's nice and they have good shopping and less heat then Malta in July. MY GOD what a bitter person I sound like. Considering we're about to book Barcelona in October as well...shame on me :))

Bronx

That went well. Not. 2 parents decided to cause a fight and the play ended with us parents going out and 2 police cars came to the rescue. Poor kids and poor everyone who had spent all the time practising for this.
I'm really disgusted with their ugly behaviour and I hope they feel low as hell for ever!

Swiss boy

Aiden is going to be a swiss boy in a school play today.
He was for some reason watching travel channel and saw a train going through Switerland so he thought that's were he comes from. He said he was actually brought to me by train...not from hospital. Wish it was that easy....

Polo Sport

Yesterday late afternoon me, Paulina and Aiden spent some hours in the sun watching our dear tennis pro's playing (unfortunately not winning) against Maltas no 1 tennis players. We figured we could do with some practice and beat the boys in a double but since we wore flip flops and heels it would have looked quite stupid..well..maybe we focused more on the clothes then the actual game even tho' it looks fun SO instead of looking silly on court playing we decided to coach our men with...tennis gear! Coz look; the ones for girls are sooo sexy, there has to be cool stuff for men as well. For the next double they will be color coded!!

Summer party

I have to start planning for the yearly summer party for work and I have lots of ideas for a theme but I've done them a million times so I need some new ideas...The terrace at the office is great though...just the view could be enough but it has to be a lot more as well. Last year I had the sword swallower, belly dancers and fire,..something..jugglers Hmm ;) I'll figure something out. Ideas? Hawaii style? Brazilian? ;)

Photo exhibition in Valletta

In 8 years in Malta I never visited Valletta in the evening except for a few times going to one of many wine bars so this was a fun exception; photos and food evening. Loads of people crowded in this old typical Maltese townhouse where you could view the photos in 3 rooms, some of them beautiful and most likely the person behind it had been spending plenty of time on it while some were analysed just because they were hanging there, well framed and had a name on the side although I know I could have taken a better, more charasmatic photo myself. Since my friend Anne had her girls on each photo she clearly didn't want them sold and they might even be too personal for someone to buy but if you imagine your own child on either one of them, they become extra beautiful....and of course her girls are super babes :) Her much supportive husband Kynan looked very proud although it didn't take much effort to convince him to join for tapas ;))
